Sri Lanka Navy Have Suspended Four Of It's Rugby Players Who Were Wearing "YO-7"Arm Bands To Show Solidarity To Detained Former President's Son
The Four Rugby Players were wearing 'YO-7" Arm bands during the Match played yesterday (14)against Sri Lanka Army Rugby Team at Diyagama Grounds to show solidarity to their former Captain of Sri Lanka Navy Rugby Team Yoshitha Rajapakshe who had been remanded recently over money laundering charges it has been reported.
The Navy Chief has ordered the authorities to investigate on the incident further.
Navy Have Arrested 17 Local Fishermen Who Had Been Involved In Illegal Fishing With Banned Equipment
The group of Local Fishermen have been arrested while engaged in illegal fishing in Uchchamuniya and Kimbulbokka Sea Areas by using banned nets according to Sri Lanka Navy.
Along with the Fishermen the Navy have arrested seven pairs of Diving Fins,18 conch Shells,31 Oxygen Tanks and 5 GPS's.
The detained Fishermen and their equipment have been handed over to the Assistant Director Of Fisheries in Puttalam(In North Western Province) for further investigations.
Four Buddhist Monks Who Had Involved In Violent Protests In Front Of Homagama Magistrate Court Have Been Remanded
After surrendering to the Police the four monks including Venerable Iththakande Saddhathissa Thero and Venerable Akmeemana Dayaratne Thero have been produced before Homagama Magistrate Court and the Magistrate has remanded them until tomorrow(16).

Hyderabad Cyber Crimes Police Said They Have Sufficient Evidence To Arrest Sri Lankan Doctors Who Have Involved In Illegal Kidney Racket
The Hyderabad Cyber Crimes Police of India have told the Indian Media that they have sufficient evidence to arrest Sri Lankan Doctors who have found as involved in large scale illegal Kidney Transplant Racket operated between Sri Lanka and India the Hans India Newspaper has reported .
A high level Police Team of Hyderabad Cyber Crimes Police is due to arrive Sri Lanka shortly to handed over the evidence regarding the Sri Lankan Doctors involvement of the Kidney Racket to the Sri Lankan Police the Indian Paper quoted Hyderabad Cyber Crimes Police Officials has stated.
Indian Police have already arrested seven Indians including the kingpin of the alleged illegal kidney racket Suresh Prajapathi and questioned from them on the racket.
Meanwhile the Criminal Investigations Department(CID)that investigating on the illegal kidney racket operated between Sri Lanka and India had last Thursday questioned the Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala regarding the alleged Illegal Kidney Transplants performed at Colombo based Private Hospitals under the racket.
