The Air Port Customs Officers have arrested a Singaporean National who attempted to smuggle a stock of foreign currency notes worth around 222 Lakhs to Singapore at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port early morning yesterday(03) . The Customs Officers have arrested the suspect at the departure lounge of Air Port when he tried to board the plane PK-348 flying to Singapore . Air Port Customs Officers have decided to handover the detained stock of foreign currencies to Colombo Central investigations Unit for taking an action.
