Police To Take A Disciplinary Action Against Six Police Officers Including OIC Of Kotadeniyawa Police
A Disciplinary Action will be taken against the Police Officers attached to Kotadeniyawa(In Western Province) Police Station including Officer In Charge (OIC) for arrested a Teenage School Student and another person wrongfully regarding the rape and murder of Five Year Old Seya Sadewmini according to the Department Of Police.
Based on the finding of Inquiry held regarding arresting two persons wrongfully the Police Department has taken steps to issue charge sheets to Kotadeniyawa Police OIC,An Inspector,A constable,Sargent and two Sub Inspectors of the Police, Department Sources said.
Kotadeniyawa Police have arrested the two Individuals soon after the body of five year old Seya found a place near her home and later released them on bail.

Health Ministry Has Temporarily Banned Performing Of Kidney Transplants For Foreigners At Government And Private Hospitals
The Ministry Of Health ,Nutrition And Indeginous Medicine has today(21) decided to temporarily ban the performing of Kidney Transplants to Foreigners at Government And Private Hospitals with immediatte effect.
This decision has been taken following the decision taken by Indian Police to filed cases against Six Sri Lankan Doctors who have performed around 60 Kidney Transplant Surgeries for Indian Nationals at four colombo based private hospitals by buying kidneys from poor indian villagers for money.
The Six Doctors namely Dr.Madhava,Dr.Monick,Dr.Niroshani,Dr.Shabeeba ,Dr.Sadhana and Dr.Chamila have faced these allegations of performing 60 Kidney Transplants in Private Hospitals here illeagally .
Meanwhile Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala has said the Health Ministry too launched an investigations on the alleged Kidney Racket involved by some Sri Lankan Doctors .

A Sri Lankan Gem Businessman Has Been Arrested At The Air Port While Attempted To Leave The Country With Foreign Currency
Sri Lanka Customs Officers have today(20) arrested a 35 year old Sri Lankan at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port while he allegedly attempted to leave the country with Rs.61 million worth foreign currency notes in his possession .
The suspect who is a Gem Businessman from Galle (In Southern Province) has been arrested by Customs Officers early this morning while preparing to board a flight to Singapore according to Customs Media Spokesman Leslie Gamini.
The Sri Lanka Customs have imposed a fine of Rs.100,000 on the suspect.
