Sri Lankan Navy Have Arrested 29 Indian Fishermen Yesterday(31)While Fishing In Sri Lankan Waters
The Sri Lankan Navy have yesterday(31) detained 29 Indian Fishermen came from Nagapattinam,Tamil Nadu while illegally fishing in Sri Lankan Waters of Trincomalee Coast (Eastern Province).
Navy have also arrested three Fishing Boats the Indian Fishermen were in and taken them along with fishermen to an Army Camp in Trincomalee according to Indian Officials.

The Amendments Made To Three Taxes Through The Budget Will Be Implemented From Today
The amendments made to the VAT(Value Added Tax),Land Taxes and NBT(Nation Building Tax) introduced through the Annual Budget-2016 are due to be implemented with effect from today(01) according to the Ministry Of Finance.
The deadline for the Super Gain Tax introduced through the interim budget presented to Parliament early last year has ended yesterday(31).The Super Gain Tax should be payable in three installments before the deadline the Finance Ministry has said.
One Thousand Motorcycle Riders And Pillion Riders Have Been Killed Due To Traffic Accidents In 2015
One thousand Motorcycle Riders and Pillion Riders have been killed during 2015 due to traffic accidents occurred throughout the country according to the Police.
Violation of Traffic Line Laws has caused majority of these accidents the Police have said.
According to the Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekere, 367 Motorcycle Riders and Pillion Riders have been killed due to the fault of Motorcycle Riders violating traffic line laws and 334 Motorcycle Riders and Pillion Riders have been killed due to the other vehicles violating traffic line laws.
Another 299 Motorcycle and Pillion Riders have been killed due to the accidents caused by Motorcycle Riders.

A Female Has Been Killed And Four Others Injured Due To A Car-Train Collision Occurred In Kandana
A female has been killed and four others injured and hospitalized due to a Car collided with a Train at Halpe Road Railway Crossing in Kandana(In Colombo) this evening.
A train transporting fuel from Katunayake to Kolonnawa had collided with a car which reportedly attempted to go through the Railway Crossing during the signals were changing according to the Police.
Three Children including two infants and two females were among the injured and they are identified as family members of Driver of the Car.The sister of the Car Driver had succumbed to her injuries before getting admitted to the hospital.
