State Service Will Not Scrapped-Minister Of Public Administration Ranjith Maddumabandara

The Government  Service will not be scrapped at any cost according to Minister Of Public Administration And Management Ranjith Maddumabandara.

Current government has taken various steps to strengthen the government  service and has already recruited around 4000 graduates to the  Government Sector the Minister has said.

The Government is also aiming to recruit another batch of 5500 Graduates graduated from State Universities before 31st of March 2012 to the Government  Sector Minister has further said.

Prime Minister Wikramasinghe Has Agreed Not To Implement Tax Charges Introduced Through The Budget For Cash Withdrawals -State Minister Dilan Perera

Image result for tax on bank cash withdrawals of sri lankaPrime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has agreed not to implement tax charges introduced through the 2016 Annual Budget on   Cash Withdrawals  between Rs.1 to 10 million  and  above Rs.10 million  from Banks according to State Minister Dilan Perera.

Under to the Annual Budget-2016 ,2% Tax  has been  proposed to charge from Rs.1-10 Million Cash Withdrawals from  Banks and 3% Tax for Cash Withdrawals above Rs.10 million.

Prime Minister has also agreed to allow Banks to continue providing leasing facilities to the Public which prohibited through the budget state minister has said.

Third Reading Of The Annual Budget-2016 To Be Taken Place In Parliament Today(19)

Image result for sri lankan parliamentThe Vote on the third reading of the Budget is due to take place in Parliament today(19).The second reading of the Annual Budget-2016 was passed in Parliament last week with a majority of 107 votes.

Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake had presented the Annual Budget to the Parliament on 20th of November.

Government To Grant A Fertilizer Allowance To Small Scale Tea,Rubber And Coconut Cultivators-Plantations Minister

Image result for fertilizer allowanceGovernment has decided to to grant an allowance for Fertilizers to small scale cultivators of Tea ,Rubber and Coconut ,Plantations Minister Navin Dissanayake has announced today (18) in Parliament. 

Plantations Minister has revealed this by Responding to a question raised regarding Fertilizer Subsidy by Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna(JVP) MP Sunil Handunhetthi in Parliament today.

A large number of Farmers have been conducted a protest campaign in Colombo yesterday(17) by demanding the Fertilizer Subsidy which government has abolished through the 2016- Annual Budget Proposals.




Heavy Traffic Prevailed In Parliament Road And In Colombo Fort Today (18) Due To Protest Campaigns

Heavy Traffic has been prevailed in Parliament Road,Battaramulla(In Colombo) and in Colombo Fort today(18) due to the Protest Campaigns conducted by Samurdhi Officers and Joint Opposition against Budget Proposals-2016.

Samurdhi Officers have conducted their Protest Campaign in front of Parliament Roundabout this morning and Joint Opposition had conducted it's protest in Colombo Fort this evening.

Commuters have faced severe difficulties due to this traffic and Police have advised motorists to use alternative routes .
