Government has decided to to grant an allowance for Fertilizers to small scale cultivators of Tea ,Rubber and Coconut ,Plantations Minister Navin Dissanayake has announced today (18) in Parliament. Plantations Minister has revealed this by Responding to a question raised regarding Fertilizer Subsidy by Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna(JVP) MP Sunil Handunhetthi in Parliament today.
A large number of Farmers have been conducted a protest campaign in Colombo yesterday(17) by demanding the Fertilizer Subsidy which government has abolished through the 2016- Annual Budget Proposals.
