Peradeniya University Medical Faculty Research Team Has Discovered A New Drug For Snake Poisioning
A Research Team attach to Peradeniya University Medical Faculty has discovered a new Anti Venom drug according to the Vice Chancellor Of Peradeniya University Professor Upul Dissanayake,
There are so many benefits in this new drug which said to be effective for snake poisoning Professor Dissanayake has revealed.
A Research Team led by Senior Professor attach to Peradeniya University Medical Faculty Professor Dhammika Gawarammana has discovered this drug after a 4 year research done by the team it has been reported.The new Anti Venom Drug would commence testing soon according to the reports.
At present Sri Lankan Government Hospitals are using Anti Venom Serum imported from India for snake poisoning.
Around 35 Passengers Were Injured Due To A Private Bus-Lorry Collision Occurred At Dambulla
Around 35 Passengers were injured this morning due to a Private Bus-Lorry Collision occurred at Inamaluwa Area at Dambulla(In Central Province) according to the Police.
Around 25 passengers out of the injured passengers have been admitted to Dambulla Hospital for treatment .
According to the Sigiriya Police this accident had occurred when a Private Bus travelling from Polonnaruwa to Colombo had crashed in to the back of a Cement Lorry travelling to Colombo early this morning.
The Sigiriya Police are conducting investigations on the accident.

UNAIDS Office In Colombo To Commemorate World Aids Day-2015 In Different Style
The UNAIDS(United Nations Aids Programme ) Office in Colombo in collaboration with Beetle Car Owners Club Of Sri Lanka are planning to commemorate this year's World AIDS Day on 01st Of December with an estimated two hour drive starting from Independence Square and ending up at Galle Face Grounds in Colombo by displaying messages on HIV/AIDS in front of Beetle Cars to make awareness amongst public on the disease.
Around 50 Beetle Cars courtesy of the Beetle Club Members will be participating the drive according to UNAIDS Office in Colombo.
The aim of this drive is to strengthening the National HIV Response by educating the Public on the importance of main theme of this years World Aids Day -"Test Today" according to Country Manager of the UNAIDS Office in Sri Lanka Dr.Dayanath Ranathunge.
