Recruitment of Sri Lankan Female Workers to Foreign  Countries as House Maids will be  completely stopped during next five years according to the Minister Of Foreign Employment Promotions Thalatha Athukorale .

Due To The Derailment Occurred Near Thalawa Railway Station Train Services Along The Northern Railway Line Disrupted

Due to the derailment occurred near the  Thalawa Railway  station this noon train services along the Northern Railway Line  disrupted and train services on northern line have terminated from Thalawa according to the Sri Lanka Railways.

The efforts are currently  underway to resume normal train service on the norther railway line .

Special Task Force Have Arrested Two Persons For Transporting Narcotic Tablets

The Special Police Task Force has yesterday(19) arrested two persons at keselwatta in Hulftsdorf Court Complex who had transported 70,000 narcotic tablets worth Rs.4.5 million from three wheeler 

These narcotic tablets have been stored in 7 boxes according to  the police task force officers .

Water Levels In Kalu,Gin And Nilwala Rivers Are On The Rise-Disaster Management Center

The Disaster Management Center has today (19)requested people living in low level areas of Kalu,Gin and Nilwala River Banks to be in alert due to the rising water levels of these rivers.

According to the Disaster Management Center the water levels of the  Kalu,Gin and Nilwala Rivers have risen in certain areas.
