Prime Minsiter Ranil Wikramasinghe To Visit India For A Three Day Official Visit

The Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe is due to visit India for a Three Day Official Visit from 14-16th of September.

Prime Minister is due to hold talks with Indian Leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his official visit according to the Indian Media Reports.

Meanwhile President Maithripala Sirisene is scheduled to be visited India for a three day Official Visit from 08-10 th Of October to promoting Buddhism as a link between  Asian Countries.

Forty Five State/Deputy Ministers And Five Cabinet Ministers due To Be Sworn In On Tuesday(08)

Forty Five State And Deputy Ministers along with Five New Cabinet Ministers of the Unitary Government are due to be sworn in on this Tuesday(08) according to the Government Sources.

Out of the forty five State And Deputy Ministers scheduled to be sworn in Twenty Seven are from governing United National Party(UNP) while Eighteen are from Sri Lanka Freedom Party
.Out of the Five Cabinet Ministers due to be sworn in on Tuesday four are from Sri Lanka Freedom Party and one from United National Party.

A forty two member Cabinet has sworn in before the President Maithripala Sirisene on yesterday(04).meanwhile the New Portfolios of the Cabinet will be gazetted soon after the swearing in  of Five New Cabinet Ministers  next Tuesday.

The Government Printer is due to be received the name list of Cabinet Ministers  by tomorrow(06) according to the sources.

Twenty One Persons Have Been Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Lorry-Bus Collision

Twenty One persons have been injured and hospitalized this noon following a Traffic Collision between a Lorry And a Bus at Dombagahawela,Siyambalanduwa Area (Central Part of the Country).The injured were admitted to the Monaragala Hospital for treatment.

According to the Police a Lorry traveling From Badulle to Ampara has collided with a Bus traveling in the opposite direction .Police have arrested the Driver of the Lorry and conducting further investigations on the incident.

Due to the one day token strike launched today (04) by the Nursing Staff attach to Government Hospitals in North Western Province the patient care services were paralyzed and  a large number of  patients have faced severe difficulties  according  to Hospital Sources.

The Nurses attach to all Government Hospitals belonging to  North Western Provincial Council  have launched the strike by demanding the cancellation of 378 illegal transfers made by  North Western Provincial Director of Health Services.
