Head Of The LTTE'S International Wing Confirmed The Death Of Prabhakaren

Head of the LTTE'S International Wing and their current leader Kumaran Pathmanathan Yesterday Confirmed that the LTTE Leader Valupillai Prabhakaren was killed from an Sri Lankan Army Attack on last Weakend.

Pro LTTE Website yesterday Published a letter sent by the Pathmanathan who is known as KP stating that the LTTE Leader Prabhakaren was Killed and Urging their Activists to mourn for a Week over his death.Since the Sri Lankan Forces Announced the Death of Prabhakaren through the Local Media on Last Tuesday KP and European LTTE Activists denied to accept that he was killed.
Meanwhile An International NGO Based in Norwegian Capital Oslo today confirmed that Prabhakaren along with his Family Members were Killed due to an Army Attack in Northern Sri Lanka.

Defence Secretary Asked International Help To Arrest Current LTTE Chief KP


Sri Lankan Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksha today calls on International Community and United Nations to assist the Arrresting of Current Head of the LTTE and the Arms Smuggler Kumaran Pathmanathan Allias KP.


KP is currently based in Malaysia and also believed to be responsible for calling a Public Meeting there yesterday on Ealam State.However Malaysian Government urged the People not to attend that Rally as it is Illegal .

KP is also a wanted Person for the INTERPOL as He is also responsible for Killings done by LTTE under Prabhakaren.

A Vessel Carrying 884 Metric Tonnes Of Relief Items Is Heading For Sri Lanka Without Permission

A Vessel said to be Carrying 884 Metric Tonnes of Food Medicine and other Humanitarian Relief Items for Displaced Persons in Northern Sri Lanka is heading away to Sri Lanka despite the Local Government says it has not been given the Clearence for the Vessel and Navy put on Alert.

The Ship "Captain Ali" entered to the Red Sea after traveling through the Suez Canal now is said to be Carrying an Essential Supplies for the 300,000 Displaced Persons in the Camps of Northern Sri Lanka.The Ship began it's first leg of Journey from Port Ipswich of United Kingdom on 20th of April.

An Ex Sri Lankan Monitoring Mission(SLMM) Monitor ,Doctors and Humanitarian Workers are traveling with the Humanitarian Relief in board.


President Mahinda Rajapaksha Honored With A National Title

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha and Chief Commanders of the Armed Forces were Honored with Honorary Titles today By the Highest Buddhist Chapters in Sri Lanka for guiding the Armed Forces to a Historical Victory over Ruthless LTTE Rebels.

President Rajapaksha was given the Honorary Title "Vishwakeerthi Sri Threesinhaladhishwara" by the Prelates of thr Malwathu and Asgiriya Chapters at Kandy.Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksha too Honoured with a Title on this Occasion.

Speeking at the Occassion President said He will not let the United Country Divided again .

Three Hundred Bodies Of LTTE Cadres Including Their Chief Prabhakaren Cremated

The Bodies of around Three Hundred LTTE Cadres Killed during their Final Battle with Sri Lankan Troops including their Leader Valupillai Prabhakaren and Other Leaders were Cremated yesterday in Mulativue District(Northern Sri Lanka) Army Sources said.

Some Bodies were Decomposed as they died on Monday Morning Sources revealed.There will be no Seperate Tomb for LTTE Leader Prabhakaren who is branded as World's Most Dangerous Terrorist as he was responsible for killing large number of innocent civilians in Sri Lanka during their 25 Year old Ealam War Sources further added.

Six Thousand Sri Lankan Soldiers Sacrificed Their Lives During Offensives Against LTTE


Sri Lankan Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksha says that Six Thousand Two Hundred Sixty One(6,261) Sri Lankan Soldiers Sacrificed their lives while engaged in Liberating North and Eastern Provinces held by LTTE Rebels.Twenty NineThousand Five Hundred Fifty(29,551) One Got injured during the Operations and Another Two Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Six(2556) were Disabled.

ATotal number of Twenty Three Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety (23790) Security Personnel were Sacrificed their Lives since 1981 while engaged in Offensives to Eradicate Terrorism from the Motherland Defense Secretary reveals during an Interview with State Own National T.V Channel Rupavahini.

Meanwhile it has been reported that around 22,000 LTTE Cadres were killed by the Sri Lankan Troops during the Ealam War of LTTE and 625 alone during the Last Battle on Monday.

Sri Lanka To Honour War Heroes Tomorrow At A Large Ceremony In Colombo

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha invited Citizens to come to the National Parliament Square tomorrow Evening to attend a Ceremony to Pay Tribute to Sri Lankan War Heroes who defeated the Terrorism.President is due to Address the people attending this Ceremony.

To Day is also the National Heroes Day of Sri Lanka.Thousands of People from all corners in the Island are expected to attend this Ceremony conducting as a part of the Celebrations to Honor Sri Lankan Armed Forces.

All Schools in Colombo and Suburbs and Some Roads are closed tomorrow to Accommodate the Crowds reaching Colombo for the Event..
