Government Appealed To The People To Hoist National Flag This Monday And Honour Sri Lankan War Heroes


Government Today appealed to the People to Hoist the National Flag on This Monday(05th) and Observed Two Minute Silence from 8.32 in the Morning To Pay honour = for the Security Personnel And War heroes of Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile Troops who Captured the Kilinochchi Town Yesterday are heading to Liberate the Elephant pass.

Three People Got Injured At A Bomb Explosion In Fort


Three people got Injured and Admitted to the Accident Service of the Colombo National Hospital Following a Bomb Explosion out side the Red Mosque In Fort Area This Evening.A Bomb Planted in A Black Jeep Exploded Around 5.15 This Evening According to the Security Sources.
Meanwhile Security Forces Urged People to Be Alert and Pay Attention To Their Security these days as LTTE May trying to Continue this kind of Explosions in future.

Suicide Bomb Attack InFront Of Air Force Head Quarters Killing Two And Injuring Thirty Seven

Soon After President Announce on Kilinochchi Victory LTTE launched a Suicide Bomb Attack Aiming the Air force Head Quarters In Colombo this Evening Killing Two And Injuring Thirty Seven.Injured Were Rushed in to the Accident Service of the Colombo National Hospital.According to the Air Force Spokesmen Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara A man Ran Towards the Air Force Head Quarters Office which is Close to the Trans Asia Hotel From Opposite Side of the Road and Explode Himself at the Gate.

Sri Lankan Troops Liberated The Final Tiger Stronghold Kilinochchi Town After A Heavy Battle


Sri Lankan Army Completely Liberated the Kilinochchi Town the Last Stronghold Held by the LTTE Tigers This Evening.Fall of Kilinochchi from the LTTE'S hand markes the end of the Eelam War carried out by the LTTE over Two Decades in Sri Lanka.President Mahinda Rajapaksha Announced the Liberation Of Kilinochchi to the Nation from a Live Speech Relay from the Presidential Secretariat this evening which is Telecast over the National Television.People all over the Country Celebrated this victory by firing crackers. After Capturing the Important Areas of Paranthan and Iranamadu Sri Lankan Forces Entered the Heart of the Tigers Kilinochchi Town known as their De Facto Capital and Capturing the Kilinochchi Railway Station this morning. Heavy Fighting continued Between the Forces and LTTE Cadres area for few hours..Some Media Reports Indicated that the LTTE Leader Valupillai Prabhakaren is also Came to the War Front and Giving Commands to his Cadres from the Secret Location.Troops are currently in 2 kilo meters from Elephant Pass and 5 kilo meters from Mulativue says Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka.he and and Minister Keheliya Rambukwella Issued Statements this Morning saying that within Few hours Kilinochchi will fall in to the hands of the Armed Forces.
