President Ranil Wikramasinghe has issued an Extra Ordinary Gazette Notification declaring Health,Public Transport ,Train and Postal Services as an Essential services.
President has declared above services as special Services to prevent it being obstacle to the General Public it has been announced.
Meanwhile 72 Trade Unions representing various health employees had launched an islandwide strike action demanding DAT allowance provided to Doctors for their services as well since yesterday (13) crippling the Hospital services.The strike continues today as well
