Walisara Magistrate Thusitha Dhammika Uduwa Vidana has ordered the release of the Container Truck driver who was arrested over the death of the State Minister of Water Supplies Sanath Nishantha and his constable who were killed by an accident at Katunayake -Colombo Express Highway on last Thursday(25)
The Magistrate has ordered the release of Container driver who was arrested by the Police over the death of State Minister and his security officer by dismissing the request made by Kandana Police OIC to remand him.Welisara Magistrate has also.ordered to remand the driver of the State Minister Nishantha who was responsible for the accident.Police had arrested driver of the State Minister Nishantha as well as the Driver of the Container truck which collided with the state minister's vehicle at the express highway.
