The Badulla -Colombo main road is being Completely blocked for traffic due to the falling of a Soil mound and a large black rock into the section of the road at Balangoda seelogama area in the midnight last Tuesday(21) as the result of the heavy showers prevailing in the area it has been reported.
The Badulla -Colombo main road is being Completely blocked as a result of the falling of the soil mound and the rock Near the area between 155 and 156 Kilo meter posts in Belihuloya seelogama area last Tuesday night .The removal of the soil mound and the rock that had fallen into the road has been temporarily halted last evening due to.the heavy showers prevailed in thr area according to the Road Development Authority officials.However the Authorities had taken steps to open a lane of the Badulla-Coombo Main road last evening for traffic
