The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) had issued landslide warnings to several areas in Seven Districts yesterday (12) due to the continuous heavy showers experiencing in those areas at present.
Accordingly level 3 (red) and Level 2 (Amber) landslide warnings had been issued to several areas in Matara,Badulla,Galle,Hambanthota ,Ratnapura ,Kegalle and Kalutara Districts NBRO had stated.
Meanwhile Department of Meteorology had stated there will be heavy showers upto 75 mili meters in Uva,Southern and Eastern provinces today(13).
