Giriulla-Mirigama Road was completely blocked due to a Train -Container collision ocuured in Wilewatta Railway crossing in Colombo suburbs this Morning(09).
The office train travelling from Polgahawela to Colombo had collided with a Container truck and as a result the Railway signal code system,Electric posts,Railway track and Train engine were severely damaged according to the authorities.No casualties had been reported due to the incident.
