To mark the Sinhala and Tamil new year festive season this month government had decided to increase the issuing of existing fuel quota to motorists from midnight last night(04).
Accordingly the existing fuel quota issues for Three whealers had increased to 08 liters per a week from 05 liters,04 liters issues for Motorcyclists increased p to 07 liters,20 liters issues for Vans and Motor cars to 30 liters and 40 liters issues for Buses to 60 liters from midnight last night the Ministry of Power and Energy has stated .
