A Youth Had Drowned Wwhilst Bathing In Kelani River

A 21 Year old youth had drowned and died whilst bathing in Kelani River near Mapitigama Bridge last Friday (31) it has been reported ,

The deceased youth was a resident of Habaragala area in Kandy and worked at a Private company in Kaduwela area (Colombo) it has been reported.The incident had occurred when the deceased was bathing along with another three of his friends it has been revealed .Two others bathed with the deceased had also drifted away with rough sea waves when they had attempted to save him but the life saving guards attached to the Sri Lanka Navy had saved them
