A person was killed due to a Wild Elephant attack whilst in his paddy field at Gamunupura area in Thambuttegama area ,(North Central Province).
The 59 year old farmer had died on admssion to Thambuttegama Base Hospital it has been reported.This was the third death reported due to the wild elephant attacks from the area recently.
