As the Fuel distribution Island wide is being carried out with the help of Armed Forces ,Public should not panic over a fuel shortage Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekare has stated .
Employees of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) had commenced an island wide trade union action against the cabinet decision taken to handover the monopoly of the CPC to three foreign companies.
According to the Minister sufficient stocks of Fuel is available in the country at present ,Therefore there's no need to panic over a shortage .However queues can be seen in front of Fuel stations these days due to the fuel shortage according to the reports.
