Government Cancelled All Leave Of Railways Employees

 Government cancelled the leave of All Railways Department employees with immediate effect following the decision taken by the Locomotive Railway Engineers Union to launch an Island wide strike  tomorrow(15) against the new tax system introduced by the Government

The General Manager of the Sri Railways Department had advised the Railways Authorities to seeking explanation from the workers who are not reporting to work tomorrow . 

 President Ranil Wikranmsinghe had issued an extra ordinary Gazette Notification on 27th of February by declaring Sri Lanka Railways as ans essential service    .   `
