An Earth Tremor Reported In Buttala Area

 An earth tremor measuring 3 magnitudes had been reported in Buttala area (Uva province) this noon (10)according to the Department of Meteorology . Earth tremor vs earthquake: What is the difference?

The public in Buttala town as well as in  surrounding areas had felt the  aftershocks of this tremor the department has stated .
