A Stern Trade Union Action To Be Taken If The Electricity Bill Increased Again-Trade Unions

  A Stern trade union action will be taken  If the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) is taking a step to increase the Electricity bill again according to the Ceylon Electricity Board Joint Trade Union Alliance .

The Convener of the Trade Union Alliance Ranjan Jayalal has stated that even the Public should  opposed this move .

Meanwhile the Chairman of the Public utilities commission Janaka Ratnayake has stated that despite his opposition the other three members of the Commission had approved a proposal to increase the Electricity bill by 66 percent .
