President Gotabaya Rajapakshe had made an urgent Cabinet reshuffle today (03) by removing the Ministry of Industries Wimal Weerawanshe and Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila from their Cabinet portfolios .
Accordingly Minister of Power Gamini Lokuge had sworn in as the new Minister of Energy and Minister of Transport Pavithra Wanniarachchi had sworn in as new Minister of Power before the President ,MP S.B Dissanayake had sworn in as the new Minister of Industries it has been reported ,
Meanwhile Government MP's were reported as requested the President yesterday (02) to remove Ministers Wimal Weerawasnhe ,Udaya Gammanpila and Wasudeva Nanayakkara from their portfolios with immediate effect due to their criticisms against the government ,
