There's A Need To Impose 6-8 Hour Long Daily Power Cuts From Next Year If There's A No Hike In Electrcicity Bills

 If  the proposed Electricity bill hike is not implemented .There's a need to impose 6-8 hour daily island wide  power cuts from January next year the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekare had informed the Parliament yesterday (06).

Making a special statement in the Parliament yesterday ,Minister Wijesekare has stated that Electricity bills have to be increased from next January to meet the expenditure of Ceylon Electricity Board (ceb) needs to produce electricity units .CEB is spending Rs.56.90 to produce a unit of Electricity and all together the Board needs Rs.420 billion to meet its expenditure he has stressed;
