As many Cattle and goat deaths have been reported from Northern and Eastern Parts of the country ,President Ranil Wikramsinghe has ordered the relevant authorities to stop inter district and Inter provincial transportation of Beef and Mutton with immediate effect .
According to the Ministry Of Agriculture and Livestock resources the number of Cattle and Goats died due to a mysterious reason in North and Eastern provinces during last few days has exceeded 1000.Another herd of Cattle and goats in North and East had fallen sick it has been reported,
The Ministry Of Agriculture has taken the samples from sick Cattle and Goats and sent them to Laboratories to check the mysterious cause behind the deaths .
