The Import and Export Control Office has issued an Extraordinary Gazette notification banning the importation of all Rice varieties to the country except Basmathi Rice variety with effect from 09th of December.
Accordingly this Gazette notification is not relevant to the orders made before 09 th to Import Rice the Office has stated.
