The Fuel Distributors Association has decided to withdraw from placing orders to import fuel with effect from 8 a.m today (04) according to the Association.
This decision has been taken due to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation'S (CPC) move to recover 45 percent of the Discount allowance given to Fuel distributors .
Meanwhile Private Oil Tankers Association has stated that from today they will only distribute the Fuel stocks that have already being ordered. .
