As the purchasing of Eggs had been reduced significantly in the country due to the high prices .All ceylon Poultry farmers Association had decided to sell an egg for Rs.46 for the Wholesale Dealers who are coming to the poultry farms to purchase eggs.
The consumption of eggs is being dropped rapidly after the increasing of egg price to Rs.60 recently it has been reported.Poultry farmers are being urged the givernment to give a concession for them untill making amendments for the gazette issued to control the price of Eggs .
