Social activist and an active Member of the Galle face protest Lahiru Weerasekare who was arrested by the Maradana Police yesterday (09) over the charges of obstructing the duty of Police officers and being a member of an illegal gathering ,had been released on two surety bails of Rs.200.000 each .by the Maligakande Additional Magistrate.
Lahiru Weerasekare was produced before the Maligakande Additional Magistrate today (10) .Earlier he was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital after being examined by the Judicial Medical officer as he complained that he was sick .
