One of the leaders of the Galle Face protest Social activist Ranidu Senaratne allias "Ratta " had been arrested by the Crimes Investigations Unit of the Colombo Central Police Division today (01) after recording a statement from him regarding the Galle face protest .
"Ratta " had given a three hour long statement to the Colombo Central Police Division this morning before the arrest .He was charged over violating Court order during a Protest campaign held at Bank street in Colombo Fort on 21st of May .
Earlier he was banned from travelling abroad by the court .
