Two Wild Elephants Had Been Killed After Colliding With A Train

 Two Wild Elephants had been killed and another one was injured after colliding with a Train transporting Wheat Flour from Colombo to Trincomalee near Thalapathkanda Railway station yesterday(04).


Accordingly a   04 year old Wild Elephant and one year  old Elephant calf had died due to  the Collison with train  it has been reported .A 15 year old female  Elephant  had been critically injured due to   incident ..  

The train was derailed after colliding with Three Wild Elephants and the Train services on that Railway line had been disrupted as a result ..
