More Than 3000 University Students Had Marched Towards Premier's Official Residence

More than 3000 University students attached to Inter University Students Federation and Inter University Bhikku Federation had today (24) marched towards the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe's official residence at Wijerama Road ,Colombo -07 and held a protest campaign in front of the house demanding the resignation of President ,Prime Minister and all 225 MP's in Parliament over the current economic crisis in the country l. 

Earlier these students had planned to march towards Galle Face and hold a protest campaign in front of President's official residence .However as Police had strengthen the security by using permanent road barriers in Galle Face area since this morning ,Protesters had changed their plan and marched towards the Prime Minister's official residence at Wijerama road ,Protesters had hanged  black flags in front of the premier's residence   and protested standing  on a wall there .

Later they have joined the thousands of Protesters protesting at Galle face green .
