Independent Group Of MP's To Boycott Talks With President Until Removing A State Ministerial Portfolio

 The group Of former Government  MP's who are functioning as an Independent group  in Parliament had decided not to participate talks with President Gotabhya  Rajapakshe on forming an Interim Government until President is taking steps to remove the State Ministerial portfolio offered to one of the Independent Group MP's Shantha Bandara according to MP Wimala weerwanshe.



If the president is ready to remove MP Shantha Bandara from the State Ministerial portfolio The independent group of MPS comprising of 11 political parties will resume talks with president regarding an Interim government MP Weerawanshe has stated The Independent Group Of MP's had boycotted the second round of talks scheduled to be held with President Rajpakshe yesterday due to offering a state ministerial portfolio to MP Bandara..
