Public Utilities Commission had today (23) approved a 06 hours and 10 minutes long Power cut for 08 Zones and another 05 hour long power cut for 12 zones tomorrow (24) Due to the shortage of fuel to generate power supply as per requested by Ceylon Electricity Board .
Accordingly 06 hours and 10 minutes long Power cut will be implemented in Zones "P" to "W " from 8.30 a,m to 11 p.m tomorrow and another 05 hour long power cut will be implemented in 12 zones "A " to "L " from 8 a.m to 11 p.m it has been announced .
