Seventeen Health Professions comprising of Professions Supplementary to Medicine (PSM'S) and Paramedical officers are scheduled to be launched a two day Island wide strike tomorrow (02) and the day after (03) demanding solutions for four service demands according to Health Professions Confederation .
Accordingly these Health Professions will launch the strike from 8 a.m tomorrow and scheduled to be held a protest campaign in front of the Ministry Of Health tomorrow noon from 12 to 1 p.m the Confederation has stated ,
If the demands are not met through this strike the Confederation has decided to launch an Island wide continuous strike without a prior notice after 10th of March according to the Joint convener of the Health Professions Confederation Ravi Kumudesh ,Removing the salary anomaly of Health professions is the key demand of the Confederation it has been stated .
Government Nursing Officers Association has decided to stay away from the strike due to the interim order issued by the court against the Association .
