The Price of a Cup of Milk Tea has been increased to Rs.100 with effect from today(20) due to the rising prices of Milk powder in the world market and the Dollar shortage in the Country according to the president Of the All Ceylon Canteen Owners Association Asela Sampath .
Accordingly this Price increase will be fixed for a one year period he has stated .The price of a cup of Mik tea has been increased soon after the increasing of the 400 gramme Milk powder pack by the Milk Powder Importers .Milk powder importers had increased the price of a 400 g Milk Powder pack by Rs.250 yesterday (19)
