The Island wide Continuous Strike launched by 18 categories of Health Professionals demanding solutions for 09 unsolved service issues will continue as \the Health authorities have failed to provide a concrete solutions for the major issues according to Health Professionals Federation .
During the talks held between the Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and the Health Ministry Officials along with the representatives of the Health Professionals Federation which organized the ongoing strike at the Ministry this morning Minister had promised to provide solutions for 05 issues ,However failed to provide a time frame for the Cabinet paper due to be submitted to Cabinet regarding solving the salary anomaly created in Health sector co -convener of the Federation Saman Ratnapriya has stated .
Due to the ongoing strike action many services including issuing of drugs for outdoor clinic patients in OPD ;s of Government hospitals ,Lab tests ,Radiography tests and Rapid Antigen and PCR tests had been paralyzed according to Hospital sources ,Tens of thousands of Patients island wide are being faced severe difficulties due to this situation the Sources have added,
