The Consumer Affairs' Authority had rejected 3200 metric tons of Gas Imported by Litro Gas company due to quality failure the Authority has stated .Sri Lanka Standards Institute which has done a quality test on the imported gas stock had revealed that the stock contains lower percentage of the chemical "Ethyl mercaptan "then the required amount .
Sri Lankan authorities had rejected another stock of Gas transported by a ship recently due to a quality failure .,Now two ships carrying more than 8000 metric tones of low quality Gas had stuck at the port it has been revealed .
