Four officers attached to "Sathosa " (Cooperative Wholesale Establishment ) had been arrested by the CID (Criminal Investigations Department ) and remanded until 14th of October over the Garlic scam .
The four suspects were remanded after been produced before the Wattala Magistrate Court .The counsel appeared behalf of the suspects had requested bail for his clients ,However CID opposed it stating the suspects should not be granted bail until the investigations on the case are over ,
Deputy General Manager (Purchasing ) at Lanka Sathosa " Limited ,A Senior Manager (Supllies )at Lanka Sathosa and two managers (Wholesale ) at Sathosa stores at Welisara were arrested and remanded over the Garlic scam occurred at Sathosa ,
