Department of Zoology has decided to close down the Pinnawala Zoological Garden and Pinnawala Elephant orphanage for tourists temporarily due to the current Corona pandamic threat it haa been announced today (13).
This decision has been taken accordance to the instructions given by Ministry of Wild Life.
However administration activities of the Pinnawala orphanage is scheduled to be functioned normally .
