A Russian Aircraft Official Earlier Tested Positive For Corona Virus Now Tested Negative For The Virus -General Shavendra Silva

personal who had tested positive for Corona virus whilst in Sri Lanka from a "PCR "test carried out  at a private hospital in Matara last Wednesday (23) had tested negative for the virus at the "PCR "test carried  out on him at Hambanthota Hospital yesterday (25) according to the head of the Covid -19 prevention task force Army Commander General Shavendra De Silva.

However when the Ruasian official had tested positive from the "PCR "test carried out at a private hospital in Matara other 14 Russian officials with him had tested negative for the virus according to the "PCR "test results of them.

Although two "PCR "tests shown different results the team of Russian Aircraft officials arrived at Sri Lanka from India through Mattala Airport in Mattala on 13 th of September had clearly avoid undergoing 14 day quarantine period at a hotel they have stayed in Polhena, Matara it had been revealed.

Without quarantining themselves they had visited many places in Matara through three wheelers and General Silva too had stated that he was not informed on their arrival to Sri Lanka.

They were not performed "PCR "tests at Mattala Airport either it  had been revealed.

Due to this situation people in Matara were provoked and some parents had removed their children from schools in the morning according to reports.
