A group of Sri Lankans stranded at
United Arab Emirates (UAE),Qatar and China Due to corona pandamic including 16 Embassy staff had arrived at Katunayake International Airport both yesterday (08) and today (09) according to Airport officials.
Accordingly 420 Sri Lankans stranded in United Arab Emirates had arrived at Katunayake Airport from a special flight this morning (09) and another group of 43 Sri Lankans including 16 Embassy staff had arrived at Katunayake Airport from Qatar this morning .
Accordingly special Sri Lankan Airlines Flight Had Brought Back 112 Sri Lankans stranded in China yesterday (08).
"PCR "tests had performed for All these Passangers at the Airport and later they were transported to quarantine Centers for 14 day quarantine process.
Sri Lanka had re commenced the repatriation of Sri Lankans stranded in Foreign countries due to pandamic yesterday (08)after halting it few days back due to the Parliamentary elections.
