Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe Sworn In As The New Prime Minister


Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe had sworn in  as the Prime Minister for the fourth time before his younger brother President Gotabaya Rajapakshe at Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya  (Temple )this morning (09).

His Cabinet Ministers are scheduled to be sworn in during this week it has been reported   According to the amendments made to the Constitution by the Previous good governance government Cabinet Ministers need to be restricted to 30 or less ,Due to this it is being expected that the new Cabinet of the Government to be limited to 26 members .

According to the new  amendments  to the constitution new Prime Mimister will become  more powerful with executive powers than the president according to analysts.
