All Government Schools which had
been closed down since mid March to prevent the spreading of Corona virus ,are scheduled to be re -opened from 29 th of June under four stages by following health guidelines issued by the Health Ministry according to the Ministry of Education .
Accirdingly under the first stage all Teachers and Principals of Government Schools will be returnrd to schools on 29 th of June and under the second stage all Students of Grade 13,11 and 5 will be returned to school on 06 th of July it has been announced.
Under the stage three all students of Grades 10 ,12 and 09 will be returned to school on 20 th of July and under the stage four all students of Grades 3,4,6,7,8 will be returned on 27 th of July the Education Ministry has announced .
However the re opening of primary classes Grade one amd two as well as kindergartens is yet to be decided the Ministry has stressed .
