Ceylon Workers Congress Had Requested Prime Minister To Give Nominations For Late Arumugam Thondaman 's Son To Contest The Election

The Political Bureau of the Ceylon
Workers Congress (CWC) had requested the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe to give nomination to Jeewan Thondaman the Son of the CWC "s late leader Armugam Thondaman to contest the forthcoming Parliamentary elections .

The Political Bureau of the CWC which met after the sudden death of CWC Leader Arunugam Thondaman had decided to forward the name Jeewan Thondaman to Contest the forthcoming Parliamentary Election from Nuwara Eliya district .

Meanwhile Prime Minister Rajapakshe too has been reported as accepted the request made by CWC Political Bureau .
