A 52 year old female from Flat scheme
at Modara ,Mattakkuliya area had been identified as a Corona Virus positive today (05)and died few hours after admission to the Intensive Care Unit of the Infectious Diseases Hospital.(IDH)Angoda this evening according to the Health Ministry sources .
With this death the total number of Corona Virus deaths reported in the island had risen to 09.This was the second female Corona virus death reported two days a row and a 72 year old female had died yesterday due to corona infection whilst receiving treatment at Homagama Base Hospital .
Meanwhile a group of person who had close contacts with the deceased female had been sent to Kandakadu Quarantine Center for quarantine it has been reported .
