Nikaweratiya Magistrate had
yesterday(04)ordered to remand two females including a Rural Development Officer (Grama Seva Niladhari ) who had been arrested over brutally assaulting of a 13 year old girl at Kotawehera ,Nikaweratiya area.
The two females including the step mother of the assaulted girl and Rural Development officer had been arrested by the police and produced them before the court yesterday .
Magistrate has ordered to release the father of the assaulted girl who was also arrested with the other two suspects ,on two surety bails .
The victimized girl is cureently being treated at Nikaweratiya Hospital.
