Former Health Minister Dr.Rajitha
Senaratne who was to be arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) accordance to the arrest warrant issued by the Colombo Magistrate Court over revealing white van abductions had been admitted to the Lanka Hospital(Formerly Appolo Hospital ),Narahenpita this evening (26) over a heart problem it has been reported .
Earlier CID Officials have seaeched Dr.Senaratne to arrest since yesterday (25)and surrounded his residence at Stanmore Crescent ,Colombo -07 this evening (26)with Special police task force personsl (STF)in search of him.
However he was not at home at that time and the Military personal had left the place after searching there .Yesterday too CID Officers had checked Dr.Sensratne"s house in Colombo -07 and his rented house in Beruwala .
Dr.Senaratne's son MP Chatura Senaratne is also went missing according to reports .
However as reports had been received on Dr.Senaratna has been admitred to Lanka Hospital CID officers had gone to the Hospital and recorded a statement of him .
Colombo Magistrate court has issued an arrest warrent to arrest Dr.Rajitha Senaratne over facilitating a media briefing on white van abductions held before the presidential election .However no statement recorded of him before obtaining an arrest warrent from the court .
