A Chief Police Inspector attached to
Nugegoda Police Division had been interdicted over requesting a sex bribe though a Telephone call from a female who had arrived at him to make a complaint on a financial fraud accordance to the Police Department .
The female had arrived at the Chief Police Inspector to make a complaint against a male who became a friend with her through Facebook and cheated Her Rs.1 million .
After the complaint was made the Chief Inspector had phoned the complainant and requesting sex bribe to solve this case in favor of her .As the Police Inspector phoned her several times to request the sex bribe she has made a complaint agsinst the inspector to a Higher officer of the Police Department .
After being conducted an inquiry against the Chief inspector through a Assistant Superintendent Of Police (ASP) the Indpector had been interdicted .
